Year 2 Work

2008-9

In Year Two we study the Arctic and Antarctica as one of our geography topics. As in all subjects we try to enrich the children’s learning by planning creative experiences through which they learn skills and knowledge.


Following research about the arctic landscape and animals we worked collaboratively to make arctic boxes.		We had a visit from an ‘Arctic scientist’. We were able to ask him about his experiences in the Arctic and the effects of climate change.





We have toys to use in our play session which help us extend our learning.
